Anyone else use both before? I'm weighing my options on them as I'm undecided on which one to get. I know the 7 is heavier and has a 30mm lens vs the 5's lighter weight and 20mm lens.

I like the price on the 5 but the looks of the 7. Is there a substantial difference in using a micro RDS over a Romeo 7?

Speed and the feeling of looking thru a smaller tube.

Speed is a product of the size and light but use the small one a bit and you wont even realize a difference.

    I use the 5

To each his own, my preference is the less mass the better, quicker presentation, quicker on target-especially against multiple targets. I use holo sights with both eyes open so the 20mm size is fine.

I've got two of the Romeo 5's on my 40 S&W carbines. They have been great sights for the money.
If price doesn't matter, get an Aimpoint. Best RDS made!

I have a 7 cause they were sold out of 5 when I was shopping. It’s mounted to my 9mm Tavor and it’s taller than a Romeo 5 (which fits better actually).

I did get a Romeo 5 later on and tried it on the Tavor. I didn’t like it as much, so it ended up on the gf’s AR (absolute co-witness).

About as good as it gets right now. The lowest I've ever seen them was $119.99 and that was before Covid.

Came in a plain brown box with no low riser.

Be advised that the one negative of the Romeo 5 is that it comes with a rubber bra lens cover, and there is no way to mount flip covers.

I wouldn’t be putting anything called Romeo on my gun.:(
I always though the whole Romeo and Juliette thing Sig does is extremely stupid and off-putting. Are they trying to attract female buyers ?

If that bothers you, the Romeo 5 is just a Holosun 403b.
