RRA LAR-8 Mag issues....

Hey, fellas, I just ordered me up a RRA LAR-8, the 7.62 beast, and have at least a 6 month wait for delivery. The factory says it "accepts" BOTH inch and metric FAL/FN mags. I keep trying calling them as to which mag works "the best" but can't get through for days! Can someone here tell me? THANX!

I have a RRA LAR-8 and the magazine issue is very simple at least it was before some fool got elected! Just buy about 20 FAL mags and some will work other will not. Mine seems to like the metric ones best. I have no feeding problem it is that they will not go into the lower. I did read on the AR board about the front part being bent out from use, the point end of the round seems to push out the metal on the magazine. Simple fix is to just tap it back into place for several years of service.

I did have a couple of brand new Austrian metric magazines I purchased about 10 years ago and they work and fit great.
