    Ruger® 10/22® BX25-2 50 Round Magazine : Cabela's

Looking for a good deal on a BX25 mag for the 10/22 I came across this. The BX25-2 which holds 50 rounds altogether for just a little bit more than what one bx25 holds. In stock and $40 on sale right now at Cableas. Free shipping to a store if you have one near by.

thanks Trey, yes I was just searching for one bx25 but since they were all around the price point that Renegade posted I found the bx25-x2 and I figured I couldnt go wrong with the double size for only a little bit more.

The Cabelas ad above is for 2 BX-25 mags for $39.99 not just one. Not sure how these deals you listed are better.

Well the link it did not not say "magazines" it said "magazine" so I presumed it meant what it said, and in my haste to help OP by finding some better deals I did not read all he wrote. That is a good deal.

They recently had them for $21. I didn't need any, but I bought one anyway.

The double-ended magazine is essentially two magazines molded together feeding from different ends. My experience: heavy, bulky & weird. You can't dump-rotate-insert smoothly. Secondly, the end you're not feeding from has rim fire ammo exposed and I'm not fond of that. It also leaves it exposed to dirt & debris. And lastly, if your shooting rested at all the top cartridge can move around a little and cause problems feeding on a fresh mag. Just food for thought. I picked up two BX25s for $50 at the last gun show I attended.
