I am looking for a leather holster for my Security Six. Does anyone know where I can find the one in the picture I am attaching to this post?

That holster looks like one made by Hunter, if it's not, Hunter makes some very similar. Do a search for Hunter holsters.

I have that exact same holster, sized for a Ruger Blackhawk. It's a completely unremarkable holster inasmuch as it has no special features (no sight track, etc.), a rather casual fit for the revolver, and an outdated design. Given all that, I still love it. I don't really know why; it's just a comfortable old thing that has served me well for almost 40 years.

I'm not surprised you're looking for one. They do the job.

I'd have to agree with oldag, though. If El Paso Saddlery makes an equivalent, it's sure to be nicer in every way.

I actually had the holster (for another Security 6 that I don't have anymore) years ago and always liked it. You are right in that it was not special but I always liked it. It was simple and did its job for years while I was working out on the ranch.

I am thinking it might be time to give up my search and go more modern.

Robert, if a holster for a S&W 65 would work, I have a spare El Paso Saddlery holster. Post up if you're interested.
