Anyone else chomping at the bit for Ruger to put a SR45c into production?

I was considering a 40c, but might just wait to see if it happens.

    Want...to...tell you...9mm is better...trying to re...sist...argh!

SR45 is very cool. I really don't see why they wouldn't make a compact since they did in 9/40. What do you think the magazine capacity would be? 6/7 or?

I would hope for a 7+1 but who knows.
I currently own a SR9c and was thinking about buying the .40 to carry and just use the 9 to shoot/pratice as 9mm is much more cost effective at the range.

Although I want to see a .45, would you guys rather have 7+1 rnds of .45 or the 10+1 rounds of 9mm?

Man. I knew it would come to this.

Take the 40 or 45 hype out of the equation and ask...would you rather have 8 rounds in a gun or 11?

I would think so. However it's like any tool, each has it's own purpose. If i wanted a .45 just for the amount of firepower, I'd choose an FNX-45 (3X15, now that's firepower on your belt). but the SR compact gives you that really good concealable firearm, then slap the extended magazine in. (That would even make a Zombie think twice)

Well, I could tote my SR45 (10+1), but my Kahr CW45 (6+1) satisfies my carry needs.

Having any issues with the SR45?, there are a few reviews of them being hit or miss.

You're gonna see that about any new gun on the forums, but most of the guys I've read say no problems. A few have had issues. The slide in mine didn't lock back on the last round a few times early on, but is running smooth now. Nice pistols they are for the money, with excellent ergonomics.
