Looking to sell my Ruger Super Redhawk, stainless, 7.5” barrel with Meprolight night sights. Exactly 42 rounds fired through it.

Asking $1100 face to face around DFW or add actual shipping costs.

Will also trade (+ possible cash on my end) for a Smith & Wesson 460 XVR with 8.38” barrel. May consider a 5” model. Not interested in the performance center models.

Wow this is nice. How is the recoil?
Had the same one years back. Well made firearms and I really like the finish on them.

They're heavy but the recoil is still very stout with full power loads. Most shooters probably won't get through a full cylinder.

They're a powder puff with 45 Colt ammo.

Wow, I didn't know that 45 Colt could be used in this gun.

As stated with full power 454 recoil is errrr, brisk.

I can shoot 2 full cylinders without gloves but my hand are tingling and slightly numb.

Recoil is very mild with even full power 45Colt loads.

I hesitated shooting my Ruger Alaskan .454 when I first got it, as I was anticipating the recoil from it. Turned out to be not that much at all, in my opinion. It does have recoil but is a heavy gun and absorbs a lot of it. I was even fairly accurate for the first shots ever from it. Works good in a chest holster. Some .22 from my S&W617 as well. It does have a very nice fireball and boom!
