I have both. I bought a Rough Rider 1.5 years ago. I has been a great little plinker/range toy. I bought a Ruger Wrangler a few weeks ago, I took them to the range yesterday. OMG the Ruger is head and shoulders above the Rough Rider. Fit, finish, just the feel of the pistol is so much better in the Ruger then Rough Rider. Not saying the Rough Rider is bad but it is like comparing a Honda Vs a Lincoln. Both are reasonably accurate but the Ruger is more so. I love my Ruger.

    Helotes!
I bought my Rough Rider for $180. I brought my Wangler for $200 from Carter's Country. I like the Rough rider, but love the Wrangler.

You paid double what I did for my Rough Riders...

In fact, I got two for less than you paid for your Wrangler!

    Ruger makes great guns. Period
I agree that Honda makes better cars than Lincoln. And I’m a ford guy.
Depends on better how. I bought a Lincoln Towncar in Florida and drove it to Washington State, and it was probably the most relaxing drive I made in a car. That being said I would buy a Honda before buying another Lincoln, the upkeep is expensive.

Good question. I have a Ruger that I bought in '68 that the Mag cylinder has never been used
I guess it's YMMV. I have one from the mid '70's and I can't even find the 22LR cylinder any more. It's a nice shooting pistol with that WMR cylinder in. And it's all I have ever used.
