    Mr. Blue Shirt there has a really nasty hit. Unless he got some medical attention, there's a chance he didn't make it. Pretty bright red blood on his hand, might have hit his axillary artery.
    It is on the left hand (heart) side as well. If I had to guess he is probably dead. If he is not dead he is lucky. It also looks like it might be in the torso itself, if so it might be a heart shot. Either way he is in bad shape at the time of the pic.

    Heart's not that far to the left (it's only very slightly left of center), but you're right; the shot could have hit at an angle from his left side.

    At least it's not foamy, right?

    Come to think of it, a heart shot at the angle that would be required would probably be all frothy...

    I don't know about that. The way some firearms owners talk about how they know how they'd react in a hostile situation when they have no real experience, I think it's the cause, not the cure.
