I have one. I'm at a computer that doesn't have the pics or I'd post 'em. They are copies of AK's basicly, so there pretty reliable. Haven't had it long, so only have shot a hundred rounds thru it so far. Have changed out the FCG and stock, added a PG, and mounted a scope. Between breaking it in and sighting it in, all my shooting with it has been indoors and I am looking for an outdoor range to go to now. A good websight for info on Saiga is Forum.saiga-12.com.

Yes, I did all the work myself. I have some tools though and it would be harder, but not impossible to do without them. I modified the stock trigger guard and reused it. I bought a FCG from a place called Tac47 here in Houston - good guy to deal with. The pistol-grip came off fleabay and the stock is a lightly-used one I bought off a board member from the Saiga sight. I'm still wanting to put a flash hider on it, so that project is simmering still,,,

I have the saiga 7.62x39, and I love it. I've heard good things about the .308 also. I've shot about 500 rounds through it and it has never failed. The last time I shot I got roughly 2" groups at 50 yards while in the prone position. They had them at gilbertsguns.com for 569 last time I checked. I paid 439 for the 7.62x39 and it's still the same price.
