Anyone ever try the beer or go on the tour?

It costs $7 for the tour, which is currently closed, you get to taste some beer and get a glass to take home.

Never been, but the beer is ok. Kind of in line with Shiner, (though I like shiner better)

I'm kind of a wheat beer man, though.

Fancy Lawn Mower isn't too bad. But almost everything Shiner makes is better.

The tour is awesome. Especially when the new brewery finally opens after all the B.S. the city of Houston is making them do. Get there early and bring food or snacks, playing cards, poker chips. You get 4 drink tokens for your half pint glass you get free with the tour. But if you buy a pint glass when your their, they will fill your pint glass up each time you turn in a token for a beer. Plus you can bring it back with you on other tours.

Pretty good beer. I like others better, but sometimes you can't be too picky...

Never had it, but if it is cold and in my hand, it will be my favorite beer.

I like some of theirs, but recently have been drinking quite a bit of Zeigenbock.
