Question: If you believe in a Universal Background Check, and waiting periods are not forms of infringement of the 2nd Amendment, then please explain why they were not included when the 2nd Amendment was written?

I'll stand on my original assessment of you. If you had only come to learn more about guns, or how to be a better shooter or any other reasons most join a gun forum for in the first place, you would never have mentioned your political affiliation, or ideology, or use the avatar and tag line that you did. What you did was intentional, and on purpose, just like your posts. To stir trouble, to create controversy and inflammation for the forum. That sir, is a troll. Wow. All I did was introduce myself on a forum that is supposed to be about discussion on guns.

I would try to respond to all of the posts individually but I just joined to learn about different guns. Not get preached to about political beliefs. I am fully aware of what the Democratic Party thinks about guns.
someoneasked why universal background checks and a waiting period to purchase a gun is an infringement on the 2nd. It’s not. You can purchase them the same as any criminal.
I’m here to get ideas and information on how to shoot better, get modifications and try to hang out with people who do or do not share the same idealogies without being blasted for one or the other.
If people can’t accept that not everyone agrees, then this forum is just one big circle jerk

First, they are the DEMOCRAT party. Not democratic party.
We have had background checks for quite some time now and it has not stopped a single criminal from getting a gun. California and several other States have one on private transfers as well and it has had no effect.

They don't work . Period.
