    All,

A few years back I did a fair bit of ammo burnign at a open shooting range in the Sam Houston National forest It was off 105 I think just a little bit from Lake Conroe. Do any of you know the directions and is it still open? It has been so long I have forgot the turn offs. Thanks.:texas:

As I understand it, it is down Lake Stubblefield road, but I have not personally been there.

Last I heard is its still closed.

Suposedly they closed it cause people kept littering (leaving their target there, old washers, TVs, truck rims, etc). The clossed it down like 3 or more years ago.

That's a shame it closed due to the amount of litter ppl left behind. Heck, id volunteer to clean the place up if it meant one more range to go to in our city.
