Been quite a few years since I was at Devil's Mountain. Never went back. Didn't need the drama.

May be different now; have no need to find out.

But...opinions vary as do experience(s).

Only 2 places I know of is Devils Mountain and San Angelo Gun Club.
Several years ago I went to Devils once. IMHO it was a shit hole. Benches and tables falling apart and grass was over the targets. Never went back.
SAGC otoh requires a members and you have to sit through their orientation which I believe is Thursday evenings at 6 and Saturdays around 10. $100 a years pretty much gives you 24/7 access and is nfa friendly.
