BTW, I think the story with the legend said it was Silver plated which it's not. It's polished aluminum though.

It's some guy from Dubai of course. I found the company that did the work, it's MTM who is on Germany but I can't find a way to get to the car with details.

They did some kind of special polish treatment of the alum. body for the mirror finish. Still not a cheap job, but then again, it's Dubai, the richest little country in the world.

That's actually a chrome paint.

That's a better look at the paint. It's not cheap, and I'm sure it's a ROYAL pain to spray properly.

Well it appears it's both.

The body is polished aluminum, but the plastic bumpers, mirrors, etc. are chrome painted like the M3 above.

I've seen the paint in person on a Mercedes at the SEMA show.
