    I've been expecting more entries into the .380 micro line, not another entry into the already overcrowded 9mm micro compact line... Will be interesting to see if this new pistol offers even one new feature other than the name and manufacturer.

    It was only 3 years after the HS2000 was introduced in Croatia by HS Produkt that Springfield licensed it and branded it the XD in the US. People said much the same thing then. Another polymer pistol? Yawn...

    The Honor Guard has been selling in the US for over 5 years and hasn't really caught on. In fact no one really even noticed the drop fire issue at all. Putting the Savage name on it will undoubtedly boost sales. Smart licensing move for Honor Defense.
