Anyone using this rifle? A friend recently picked one up and he's looking for a muzzle brake for it! He bought a Precision Armament M41 brake but just really isnt happy with it! He's also looking for a stock that has a magazine thats detachable.

Just thought Id ask some local Texas guys and see what we could come up with! Thanks in advance!

Haven't used the rifle but I did put an AAC Blackout brake on my Savage 10 precision carbine and have been happy.

That is a Hell of a lot of rifle! Has he fired it yet?

One of the club members was determined to use one of those at a competition we had. After a few rounds, he decided the idea was NOT a good one!

Well at least you guys are good at comedy!

Yes he he has fired it and doesn't much care for the brake he has on it since it has a lot of blowback and loud toward the shooter!

To be honest as expensive as the ammo is he better hit what he's shooting! He's a big guy, at least 6'2" and about 280lbs of "I don't give a crap" to go along with it all!

I found a place that will make a stock
for this rifle but it's @ $550(which is a little more than the rifle itself!

    Thanks guys!

My .338 is a BDL and I just put a sand bag between the butt and my shoulder when I'm shooting off the bench. Offhand the recoil isn't bad and doesn't bother me. Brakes are obnoxious all the time and should be saved for bigger guns. If his gun will shoot lighter bullets like Nosler 210 gr partitions the recoil is not that heavy and they penetrate great.
