Savage on an AI chassis (questions)

Does anyone know if a Savage 10FP in .308 will work on an Accuracy International chassis? I know they will accomodate Remington 700's, but I was interested in a Savage 10FP. TIA.

I only see information regarding the 700 action.

I don't think they are meant too fit, something with the way the action would need to be attached to the bedding block portion of the AICS. There is a guy I ran into though that has retroffitted a few to the AICS, but its one of those processes that may get a really nice set up or waste a stock set.

I know when I got mine that and put my 700P into it, it looked like unless the receiver bottom, trigger set-up, and feed was the same you would need to be real handy with a dremel.

I think the biggest kicker would be actually making the Savage work with the AICS magazines, the poster in the thread I linked said that seekins in working on that end of things, but otherwise you wind up with a really custom single shot.
