    Hope the corn and taters don't go to screaming when dropped in the bucket.
    Don't really like sucking head. Taste like spicy dirt to me.
    The wife will pull off a few heads for me.
    I can eat the spicy boiled corn, taters, sausage, and shrimp all day long.
    Crawfish boils are great

    It's one of those pleasures in life that a person needs to do at least once.

    Speaking of big, when I was doing a lot of salmon fishing on the west coast, I used to catch some BIG crawfish in the trap I set out in the Sacramento River. I would pull some 8” - 9” craws out of the trap. I used the tail meat to tip the salmon roe bait; something about the craw meat increased the bite factor for the salmon.

    Anyway, curious about how big you have seen these guys get. The ones I caught there I think are called white claw crawfish. They were tasty too when boiled after soaking in salted water to remove the parasites

    I won't eat crawfish unless the tails are little finger sized
