I have a question it's probably been answered before but I couldn't find anything. What can you put on a sbr that you can put on an AR pistol besides a stock and vertical foregrip. Are angled foregrips allowed? Slings? Etc?

No stock and no vertical fore grip is about the only two. Angled fore grips are ok because they aren't actually a grip they are more of a hand stop.

You might be able to have a vertical foregrip if the overall length is > 26".

Apparently ATF said it was OK for those older Thompson pistols to have them because they were so damn long and unconcealable.

It might be a case by case thing that they approve for certain guns but not others.
