Its one of those guns that I've always wanted, and just had the chance to pick up at the shop for a good price. Put it on Layaway, for a Christmas Present.

The mags are modified fal mags. Check Youtube to see how to modify them yourself instead of buying $40+ SCAR magazines.

They have aftermarket lowers for them so you can use dpms patterned mags for them. Congrats!

Yeah, get a Handl Defense lower so you can use 308 PMAGs

For some weird reason I always fail at getting a scar 17. Whenever I am ready to buy there is always an LMT MWSE that show up.

I have really grown to love .308 in any platform. When I was looking, I made lots of trade offers but never got a bite.
