ZX's stats were based on 7 or 8 studies. you found one stat you didn't like (unrelated to what we were talking about) and called all the stats garbage. Irrational behavior.

Not sure why you are being purposely obtuse. You know there are millions of children who are victims of sexual assault, you know there will be future victims yet you choose to turn your back on them because I made you emotional. Disgusting really.

Any reputable source of information would not post such an obvious falsehood. It call to question the rest of their uncited “statistics”. That’s not irrational. It’s very logical to question the claims of a source without cites which posts verifiably false information.


Now you are claiming my request for evidence and real numbers is being “purposefully obtuse”. You claim that me not accepting a random number you posted earlier in the thread is turning my back on an issue. You claim I’m becoming emotional while you call me names, accuse me of being ok with child molestation, and call me disgusting. I’ve called you no names. Yet you accuse me of being emotional. I’m simply asking for actual data so that the true scope of the issue can be fully understood. I DON’T want to make any emotionally based decisions. I want my stance to be based on facts. I can’t do that without facts, and since it was you who chose to direct the thread towards child abuse I would expect you to provide verifiable information to show that the problem is worse than what I believe it to be.

At this point I can only assume that you have no sources to support your claims and instead want me to simply “listen and believe”. I will not do that. I hope that someday you realize that in order to solve a problem you must first truly understand it, and that requires real information. And in order to get reasonable people to support your cause you must provide this information, not expect them to go out of their way to find it on their own. You should also not assume someone’s stance on a particular issue simply because they don’t accept a random number posted on an Internet forum. Name calling is also a pretty poor way to win support.


If at some point you would like to discuss the issue in a reasonable way, using real data, I will be around. But I’m not going to keep going in circles while you berate me for not doing your homework or accepting whatever random numbers you decide provide the most emotional impact.

Think about it. Your tactic is the same we have seen used to push for gun control, claim there is a large wage gap, and push a narrative that masculinity is inherently evil. We should not be encouraging such a poor method of reasoning and knee jerk emotional reaction.

I reposted the link because you said there were no sources and accused me of not comprehending. Fact is you had the reading comprehension failure. That is not an accusation, that's fact. Your blatant hypocrisy exposed. That's not an attack. That is fact.

You said after a little checking for statistics of sexual abuse in schools you couldn't find any real stats. There in fact are stats but your substandard work prevented you from finding them. I'll say it again. The last study in 2004 found there are millions of child sexual abuse victims in public schools.

At first I thought you were purposefully being obtuse. I was wrong. Now I think you just ain't that bright. Not an attack it's just what you have shown.

I agree there should be more readily available information on the subject, which I suggested as a way to improve the 'situation' as you called it.
