    Texas, ya'll
If you're talking about Islam, that's not a religion... it's a political ideology. One could make a case that it has a religous component... but once it has rules governing how other religions are to be treated (with a tax levied on infidels), it crosses the line between a religion and a political system designed to rule people.

Islam... Scientology... Whatever... There's plenty of them that the world would be better off without... BUT, the 1st Amendment protects ALL of them, regardless of how screwed up they are...

Back on subject, I left Maryland to live in a free State. This battle against those who detest our freedom to own the necessary tools for self defense is raging there. If anyone here wants to catch up on this particular skirmish - there is a "Maryland Shooters Forum" with an extensive history of this battle, complete with links to ALL the legal briefs and Court decisions. Some of them boggle the mind with the level of duplicity from the anti's!
That said, we will make little progress in States like Maryland UNTIL we get HONEST voter registration. I lived in a "Majority Minority" County. The Mega Churches hire buses, and spend the DAY voting! The rest of us seemed to be able to vote one time in one place and only under one name.
