    You don't hear much about scouts these days anymore, that's great. One of my few regrets was not going all the way to eagle scout

    You don't here very many scouts earning every merit badge. That's an excellent feat for him. Problem is in the real world those merit badges don't mean anything. Unfortunately the scout programs also try to cram their religion down their throats too which I think is BS.

    WWII , Victoria Texas, Troop 104, Old uniform, Campaign Hat, Troop's own designed neckerchief, long socks worn like leggings.

    Scrap aluminum drives, waste paper drives for the War Effort....Good kids all, like General McArthur said, "Duty, Honor, Country" !
