I wondered that too, but since he said "sneak" I figured he meant a non-CHL, as a CHL would not be sneaking it in, they would be carrying it lawfully.
Could be. Though, I've sneaked a concealed handgun past unenforceable 30.06 signs to avoid hassle.

    Or:

Seaworld bag checker "sir do you have any weapons?"

CHL carrying sea life enthusiast "no"

Enters with gun, breaks no law

CHL carrying sea life enthusiast "yes"

Seaworld bag checker "we don't allow firearms in the park"

Now he's received 30.06 notice and can go unarmed or break the law, or not get to see Shamu.

Why would it be illegal if there are no signs?

    Because it's an amusement park.

The entire time I was there I saw a total of two armed police, one of whom was too busy texting to notice the man urinating in bushes fifteen feet away despite the fact they were the only two people in a quiet, off-limits section of the park. The visiting bearded, robed jihadi-looking muslims and their harem which were so heavily blanketed they could only be identified by CIA long-distance retinal scanners didn't add any comfort to my experience. CC really needs to be legalized there.

Waiting for someone to post law "proving" TXI is wrong.

Holding out hope, someone other than the usual RKIs, reads the entire section.

If that is the case then fine. Doesn't 30.06 have to be placed in conspicuous view? I walked up the center of the parking lot, straight to the gates, and saw no sign several times (and I was looking).

last time I was there it was on a large sign on the driveway up to the park, just before you reach the toll booths on the right...designed to be seen from the vehicle. I guess one can argue about what "conspicous" is but I saw it and was not specifically looking for it.
