The MG08s, Maxims and Lewis Guns always intrigued me but parts seemed hard to come by. Plus you'd have to lug around 80-100 lbs of stuff just to bring it to the range.

The old guy that brought the spandau & potato digger has a lot of older guns. Once he brought out his WWII Japanese machine guns. While eating a meal I over heard him say it was getting around time to start selling off his collection. When I first started doing this shoot his son & grandson both came with. I aint seen either in years. Kind of sad the guy is a wealth of knowledge on what he has.

Another guy @ the shoot was talking about have dinner with Dolf Goldsmith recently. Very few legends still around the hobby.
