    For those who care!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A top Republican invoked the memory of the scandal-marred Nixon administration on Wednesday to urge U.S. President Barack Obama to "back up" and not "start an enemies list."
Senator Lamar Alexander told Reuters he has begun to see the Obama White House adopting an attitude similar to that of the Richard Nixon White House four decades ago, that "everybody is against us and we are going to get them."
Alexander cited as examples the Obama administration's suggestion that it may support stripping the insurance industry of its exemption of federal anti-trust laws, its clash with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the president saying he will call out people who oppose him and boycott Fox News network.
Alexander, a member of the congressional Republican leadership, said he is "suggesting that the president back up" and "don't start an enemies list."
Alexander made the comments at the Reuters Washington Summit, a series of interviews with key Washington figures, in advance of a speech that he plans to give later in the day on the same topic on the Senate floor.

Vilifying is what he does best. He sure as hell can't administer, manage, or lead. If he wants to waste his time as president and go down as the most immature, let him.

I think Fox can handle this putz.

The thing that bothers me most about the Obama administration is the way he and his minions criticize and demonize those that oppose them. If the U.S. Chamber of Commerce doesn't support your agenda, then criticize them and go around them. If one of your friends is arrested for breach of the peace, call the officer and his department stupid - then "clarify" your comments and say you didn't mean to insult them :bs: Try to censor talk radio hosts who are critical of you. Attack a news organization (Fox) for not showing the proper amount of fawning praise other networks do.

These are things dictators do - especially the last thing. What's worse is that Obama personally involves himself in these things; it's one thing to let your lackeys do the dirty work, but when it comes straight from the top then you're acting more like Hugo Chavez than Abe Lincoln.

Or the Obama people setting up that web site encouraging citizens to snitch on each other re: health care reform.

That's an interesting one, BTW. Their line was "We're not keeping people's private information, just trying to provide the facts about health care reform." Talk about a convenient way to build an 'enemies list', but if in fact they weren't keeping the information and deleted it, wouldn't that be destruction of public records? Any communication handled by the WH has to be kept - a law resulting from the Watergate scandal.

Nothing scares me more about this man than his followers. Everyone repeat after me "Don't drink the cool-aid"

That is the most frightening part, respecting the office is one thing but
to believe all that comes from it is ignorance.
