I eat at this Waffle House. Sometimes on the way to the range. Glad I wasn't there this morning! No details if it was inside, in the back or in the parking lot.

The ones I've been to, I wouldn't consider ghetto. Haven't been to one out of Texas, or many in Texas though.

They're in the working class parts of town - near the warehouse/shipping/TRUCKING areas. To the point this is often nearer lower income areas, sure, but Austin doesn't really have any ghetto areas.

This one happens to be near a pretty nasty strip club and takes some bleed-off from that, but 640 on a Saturday would be a lot of UPS guys and other short haul drivers (furniture delivery, etc.) and warehousemen on the way into work .
