Why do they use yellow lens?
The yellow lenses provide a more defined outline for the target area. My safety glasses also seem to provide better "light" in low light, early morning.
I shoot with yellow and love it. Only downside, you have to look at your watch when shooting in the evening or you'll be late for dinner.
Ive always used my regular glasses, because I cant see detail past 10 yrds. they are anti shatter etc.
Thanks for the replies.
They really help when shooting clays.
I bought a pair so I'll see how I like them.
I've had Yellow, clear, grey... I prefer yellow over all the other
The yellow glasses are for the Fudds. Either tinted or clear shooting glasses are for cool people.
Yellow Lenses allow for better contrast between whites and blacks. They really make the differences in high contrast targets magnified.
I hear if you wear rose colored eye protection, the high price of ammo doesn't seem so bad!
