Gangs are a huge problem in L.A. You cant even wear certain colors in some areas because they will beat you for it.

I was in Northridge at the time they were going at it in North Hollywood. It was the strangest thing. Looked outside and all of the cars had disappeared, the entire valley became a ghost town.

I read somewhere that LEOs were in a standoff with one of the gunmen. Not sure if this is accurate to an extent
