Man—-wonder where the at wood came from? Any clue where Browingbwas sourcing back then? Austria? Germany?
I have no idea, but I'd like to know. I'd also like to date it. Maybe we have a Browning historian on here that will stumble across this and fill us in.

...And this here Belgian made Browning A5 in 16ga. I had bought an SKB Orion in 12 ga with a full set of Briley chokes from him about a year ago and his grandson threw a fit about it so we made a deal for a swap on this unit. I love the wood on this one.

My 1954 Belgium A5 looks nothing like that. That's beautiful.

Those A5's kick like a mule. Shot my FIL's, and it kept me from buying a SA shotgun for many years. Finally bought one after shooting a Beretta and a Benelli. Those things barely kick.

The friction ring may be on backwards. Mine isn't all that bad. Way less kick than a pump.

FIL is dead now. God only knows where that shotgun is. That was 30+ years ago.

I grew up shooting my Grandfather's (now my brother has it) and it wasn't bad at all, neither is this one.
Now I've got a Mossberg 935 that will rattle your teeth loaded up with Remington 3-1/2 HyperSonics. With an Indian Creek turkey choke that's my anti-aircraft rig, it'll bring them cobra-chickens down from WAY up there.

I have three and all are 12ga.
Winchester Ranger & Winchester Defender. Both are pumps.

I have an identical 1300/Ranger. The first brand new and all my own gun I got (Christmas '95) and still my favorite of all. It's the smoothest pump action I've ever shot.

    Out here by the lake!
Here is one you won't probably ever see in the wild again, an HK 512 in mint condition. I gotta a huge deal imo on this about a year ago.
I came close to buying one when they came out. The torso pattern they produce is pretty slick.

I was in the safe earlier and had to fondle my Benelli 11724. I seen RTG parts are pimping a Midwest Industries M-Lok fore end for the M4’s. I’ll just leave mine as it is, perfect!
