My Benelli m1014 limited edition. Has the US flag engraved on the side of the receiver and has the 7rd tube and collapsible stock. I also added the GG&G large bolt handle a larger bolt release as well as the impact weapons scout light mount and QD mounts. One of my favorite guns I own.

As @Bully could tell you, I have poor impulse control. Before hitting up Quiet in the Capitol last Saturday, I made a pit stop to pick up a trade-in 870 Police Magnum from GT Distributors. They had a rack of them out on the show floor, so I ended up buying another one on the spot.

Overall, they're in good but not pretty condition. The 870 below is the one they picked out for me and it had some surface rust on it, but no corrosion as far as I could tell. The actions on these are pretty smooth. I considered keeping them stock, but the bottom gun is already disassembled, cleaned and waiting for Wolf Grey Alumahyde to dry and cure.

A good friend of mine picked up this 686 Silver Pigeon new from Collectors. It’s his only gun and I store it for him at my house.

The girl doing the background check after he paid leaned it against a bar stool while pulling the blue hard case out of the shipping cardboard, even after I told her to hold on to the gun and that I could pull it out instead. As expected, it tipped over and fell, and made a small dent in the forend wood. No other visible damage.

We managed to talk them into a $500 discount for the negligence on top of the initial 10%~ discount they already offered to make the sale. Got it for about $700~ off all in all. It was the only 32” 686 they had so we had some leverage, as he didn’t want a 28”.

The friction ring may be on backwards. Mine isn't all that bad. Way less kick than a pump.

Agreed. I’ve heard things about A5’s kicking hard. Even Gunny was complaining about the recoil in his episode on shotguns. I have the same experience as you with mine. It kicks far less than my model 12.

I’ve also heard not to lubricate the friction rings / mag tube. I keep mine fairly dry in that area but keep it in a silicone gun sock to avoid corrosion.

I've only bought one gun from them and was able to get them to come down $100+.

    ETA: Ninja'd.

Yeah from my experience they’re usually more discount happy on guns north of $2000, or when you back them into a corner after they sell you a gun and then drop it on a tile floor.

Their first offer after the drop was a box of ammo lmao. Pathetic.

Were those spas 12 shotguns any good?

ours has never failed, but the h did have to replace the old internal buffer (it was about to start cracking). finding a good replacement wasn’t easy so it was relegated to “pump only” for a couple years.
