Thank you all for the responses.

CDF, that's the setup I imagine myself having as I don't have a lot of space.

I am envious of those members who have a large amount of space but most of us must work with what we have available.

At least I now have enough working space to do the job at hand since I started using the stackable containers. It was almost impossible to get anything accomplished in an organized fashion before. IMO, stackable containers are the key if you are short on space.
Since I am still somewhat restricted on space, I generally don't bother bolting down the 4" vise since it weighs over 60lbs and I occasionally need to move it for the extra room. If I need the vise for a high torque situation, I just throw 3 bolts through the previously drilled holes and I am good to go.
I personally find a vise to be a worthwhile addition to the workbench as long as it doesn't get in the way.

So far those mounting plates are very sturdy. The only way the press moves is if the whole bench moves with it. The bench is a pretty high center of gravity and the feet aren't as well leveled since I moved it to its final spot.

Gonna get some of these leg levelers. Should lower the CG a bit and stop the teetering. And give me another inch or so of height.

Speaking of the height, I stood at it for a couple hours last night cleaning guns and was quite comfortable.

This is my old setup as we just moved. It is cluttered as I was in the middle of 500 rounds of 40 S&W. Bench is 37” high and press is bolted directly to the 2x6 top. I sit on a tall shop stool to reload and I can see in every case after the powder station before I manually set a bullet on the case.

    Out here by the lake!
At this point my reloading room has become the ammo can & crate room. 2 benches & the original I aint sat down @ in years. The second bench had a Dillon SDB on it that I sold long ago & is now just a work bench. As much as I don't use it I really hate the thought of selling it all off at this time.

I'm currently set up to load 9 mm, .45 ACP, 6.5 X 55, and .30-06. I'm about to buy some .455 Webley dies ... found a set of Lee carbide ones for $30.

I use my Hornady progressive for pistol and a Rock Chucker for rifle. The Inline Fabrication mount allows me to swap out presses quicly.

Surprised to not see more presses mounted on cookie sheets. It makes clean up really easy.

My little shop. I take Lee off when I’m through collet sizing a couple calibers that I use it for.

I'm digging the old box of 270 ammo. Nice setup.

Bold move not to put your primers in an old metal ammo box. Not concerned about humidity affecting them?
