So I am brand new to Austin and brand new to the forum!

I recently purchased a new full size M&P 45 and I am looking for a new holster. I have been doing some research and everyone has a different opinion (What's new?) and I have narrowed it down to SHTF gear S&W M&P 45 Full Size ACE-1 Holster and the Shielded Holsters Double Phalanx Shielded Holsters - Custom Handcrafted Holsters I am looking for a combination of quality, comfort and price (I'm in grad school so I can't shell out a ton of money for a holster). Yes yes yes, I know that you get what you pay for but I also know that good quality can be found without breaking the bank. Anybody have any experience with either brand or any others that should be on my radar (there are about 1 trillion out there)

    Thanx guys!

    Welcome to the forum.

As far as leather hybrid holsters go, they're a dime a dozen. Pretty much everyone makes one now. My wife has one of these for her Walther P99, and it was very well made for the extremely cheap price of $35: IWB Kydex/Leather Hybrid Holster Smith and Wesson
