I like both, Tupperware as well as Heavy Metal hammer fired in which case I consider myself a CZ/Tanfoglio/2011 guy.
HOWEVER, lately I feel the itch of getting one of them Sig Legion guns. I dont care for double action so that SAO model got my attention.

Anyone here playing with one? Maybe competition?

I sure would love to rent one for an hour. Word is the trigger is improved compared to the previous SAO Sigs. True?

Interested in one myself. Lots of great reviews on them for sure.

I am definitely interested in that gun.

Though I do have a handful of Sigs due to buying into the hype and recommendations, I was really disappointed in them. After shooting them I just went limp and the first thought that went through my mind each time was “it sure doesn’t shoot as good as an 1911”.

Then I bought an X-5 226. Now that gun is far superior to my other Sigs since it is SAO. My only Sig that I truly enjoy shooting.

Now I must confess that I have not tried my standard 226 Legion yet, but I’m hoping for good things.

Glad to hear that a SAO Legion is now available.

I shamelessly will take any opportunity to boast my holy grail.

    Yes, that is the one.

Can’t say that I disagree with your STI logic either, I love my STI’s.

thanks. i had a somewhat rare P220 Sport stock (365 made for Sept 2005). I tore it apart, added rosewood grips, nickel controls, etc... was thinking of going full retard with it and someone on another forum posted the X-Six which I had never seen before. $2695 msrp.

Found one for sale, kinda risky private transaction... but I bit the bullet. Sold the P220, along with another P220 Carry Equinox, and another uncommon P245 Two-tone..

Had the seller (somewhere in New England) ship the gun thru his FFL so I could verify... overnighted him the $$$ at which point he authorized the FFL to send it away.

long story short, performed sacrilege by selling guns, then took cash and sent to a complete stranger.

Paid $2150, unfired. Controls had been NiB. coated, and he included a (yet to be fitted) Bar-Sto 400 CorBon bbl. Had extra cash from the deal so I bought a XDs as well.

Told ya I'll shamelessly boast :D

I have a P226 Legion SAO and will tell you it is one of my favorite range guns along with my P320 X5.

The SAO trigger is just about perfect. I have a P220 Carry SAO with a Robert Burk trigger job that beats it out a bit - but $200 pro trigger job next to factory...

The Legion SAO is just a find shooting gun with just about everything you could want and nothing you dont need. I put it up there with my custom 1911’s.

You will not be dissappointed. I held out and got a deal on mine through GB. I paid under $1000.
