    We need to go shooting already! Lol, I'm thinking about getting a membership to Schwenke's just to go out and have a decent place to shoot distance, do they start from the date of sign up?

    Glad to hear you like your R model. I agree calling it the 556R is crazy. What would a 762x51 version be? 556W? I handled a 556R in Academy last night. I really liked it. Mag changes didnt look too bad either. I handled the SWAT models as well. Rails are nice but its a lot of rail and i dont need most of it. I do like the Classic length over the Patrol as well.

    As long as the deal holds up im supposed to pick this up this weekend. 556

    Used one of these on a hog hunt once. The x39 is definitely better than using my 556
