If you absolutely cannot find one, use a flat brass punch to tap it out. I was out both and used an appropriate sized wooden dowel. With care, left no marks.

The Kimber 1911's are infamous for the tenacity and tight fit of their rear sights. They have broken more than one sight pusher. Have read where some gunsmiths will just saw the sight in half to get it out. Of course this requires a new sight in its place.

Thats why I was hoping for a sight pusher as I wouldn't like ot replace the sight just yet.

But I might have to buy a new set of night sights .

I'd let a competent smith with the right press do it. It's quick, with the right press.

Kimber also sells a press, but you might be hard "pressed" to get your moneys worth out of it. :D

I am removing the sight to remove the FPS and Kimber will not do that

So Kimber is out and most gun smiths will not do it either

I think Brownell's lists the P500 Sight Pusher for about $125 or so. It is a good unit but may or may not handle the tight Kimber rear sight without breaking.
