    I don't agree at all.
Don't get me wrong. I'm the same. I don't agree with believing one way and acting another (even though I think that's unlikely to be what's happening here.) All I meant was that I understand it.

I've seen lots of people do things that showed their lack of integrity. In most cases, it's for money or prestige.

Back when I was a teenager and not assertive enough to file a protest, I saw an international pistol champion falsify his score card because he was embarrassed for missing a really easy shot. No one was looking and so he and his coach entered it as a hit on his scorecard. While I understood his craven motive I certainly didn't agree with what he did and lost all respect for him.

In the instant case, she could be trying to save her career from the cancel culture. That's an understandable motive.

I don't condone such acts, though. Just wanted to make that clear.

    Helotes!
You are not "millions of Americans" Mr Ego.

She is extremely popular, being nominated for many awards and winning 8 or 9.

That fact that YOU never heard of her is meaningless to this conversation

So we now know who is the president of her local fan club! :clown:

I haven't heard txinvestigator this upset since someone badmouthed Justin Beiber! ;)

If you are ignorant enough to think that all (even most) of the people in America have heard of this person, well - not much to be said for you.

    Ego? No. Common sense? Yes.

Your posts are meaningless, if you want to get down to it. As are most of the posts on any board. Sorry if that hurts your ego.

Jesus Christ, could you make a more stupid comment. I never suggested anything, unlike your suggestion that because YOU never heard of her it means anything about anything.

Never heard of a philanthropist performer, except for their tax write-off. Don't want to perform, don't get paid. Easy enough? Same for the Cowboys, I could care less. Anyway, what happened to the Cowboy up on gun charges?

    It's not about music.

It's about the 'woke' geek crowd (gawd, but I'm disgusted by the context of the word 'woke' as it's now used...) and the insistent promotion that 'all' must love, love, love the alphabet people.

The left wants us all to believe they're a very noble class, but if anyone finds them off-putting, well, they're objection is not worthy...in fact, they've some sort of mental disorder by any rejection or unwillingness to embrace the alphabet people and their, ah, quirkiness, yeah that's it, their quirkiness and agenda.

    Oh wait, I forgot.

I'm not obligated to embrace them no matter how much assertion is bellowed that 'I have no choice, but to accept them'.

    I don't have to...
