I'm interested in the SKB I series handgun case. Anybody have one? Is the foam okay to store the gun in for long periods of time?

I have an SKB Drytek Pistol Bag and I'm very happy with it. Although I'm not familiar with the I series cases, I have been using SKB anvil cases for years. On the road touring with bands, our SKB cases have proven themselves tough and rugged, which is the whole reason I decided on one of their cases as my range bag. With all the over the top engineering they claim to put into their products, I couldn't imagine them using foam that could damage a gun's finish.

I'm questioning if the foam holds moisture.

I dont have one of the handgun cases but I have a SKB bow case that I keep by bow stored in, never had any rust issues. Just leave it in the house and you will be fine.
