A buddy of mine just gave me a SKS that looks like brand new, but it is missing the entire trigger assembly. I was wondering if anyone here has one they would be willing to get rid of or know of a place where I can get one. Thanks, andy

Try going to www.sksboards.com the guys there can help you with anything you need to know about SKS's.

Which parts exactly do you need?

Try looking at either numrich gun parts corp or sarco. Someone else had some trigger groups advertised a while back, but I can't remember who.

You have to watch the trigger group size. The trigger group in my Yugo will not work in my Chinese SKS and vice versa. Second the Numrich, www.e-gunparts.com for parts.

You might check with the guy on the SKS boards that rebuilds triggers.
I know he offers complete groups too.

The link to his site is > http://www.kivaari.com/
    and
He also moderates a section on > http://www.sksboards.com/smf/index.php

I believe this forum was mentioned before.

PS...I had Kavaari do my trigger on my SKS and it was amazing....but I did supplied the group.

    YMMV

Those trigger groups used to be everywhere, for about $40; then they just dried up. Same with the Albanian bolt carriers.

Gun shows are sometimes a good place to find them. As was stated, try to know what you are buying - one from a milled SKS (Yugo, Russian) may or may not fit the stamped Chinese varieties.
