SKS help

A buddy of mine just gave me a SKS that looks like brand new, but it is missing the entire trigger assembly. I was wondering if anyone here has one they would be willing to get rid of or know of a place where I can get one. Thanks, andy

Try looking at either numrich gun parts corp or sarco. Someone else had some trigger groups advertised a while back, but I can't remember who.

You have to watch the trigger group size. The trigger group in my Yugo will not work in my Chinese SKS and vice versa. Second the Numrich, www.e-gunparts.com for parts.

You might check with the guy on the SKS boards that rebuilds triggers.
I know he offers complete groups too.

PS...I had Kavaari do my trigger on my SKS and it was amazing....but I did supplied the group.

Those trigger groups used to be everywhere, for about $40; then they just dried up. Same with the Albanian bolt carriers.

Gun shows are sometimes a good place to find them. As was stated, try to know what you are buying - one from a milled SKS (Yugo, Russian) may or may not fit the stamped Chinese varieties.
