    This is one of the strangest misuses of words and it seems it has come into view just recently in the last 3 years or so. It is rampant on the sale pages on MeWe and on Texas Gun Trader these days. Almost always they are reversed. Mostly the younger set...I guess school isn't what it used to be.


    By far the most common error but I have seen it rampantly over a much longer period than a few years. In every classifieds section on every forum I frequent, someone has something for sell or wants to sale something.

    It's nice to know that the grammar police is here. We can all rest easy knowing that they will correct all that's wrong.

    Yep, this is what happens when you are the only child of an English teacher, the VP of Piggly Wiggly and a perfectionist to boot. It's a thankless job until the deck/pergola/patio cover job is finished and all the words are spelled perfectly and used correctly on the invoice.
