    This is not a crazy idea, I know a few 07/02s that do this for side money. They work with ranges directly to advertise and gin up interest in the event. The range doesn't charge MG shooters range fees but instead takes a cut of the proceeds from the shooting.

    They work it a number of ways but it all boils down to a split between the range and the "MG Promoter" using the range. It is a draw for the range (most don't have MGs or at least not the ones being shot) and represents zero wear and tear on thiers if they do. Done right, it can be profitable for both parties, especially if the MG promoter loads ammo and is banking that on top of the per magazine fee split with the range.

    Not a single one of them use thier personal transferable guns for this type of work.

    Key to that is the 07/02. Pretty sure they aren't doing it with transferables.

    Exactly, it get's torched when it's life is over and a new one put into the bound book. No hassle, no fuss, no $30k investment evaporating in someone's hands.
