Lets see how dudes who suck off the NRA and pay them 100s of dollars a year defend this.
Where is the evidence that proves any of this. The fact it, this guy is a dismissed employee who had been essentially laid off for a year and now has had his employment terminated. You want to believe what he says as gospel go ahead even though what he has written apparently are his mere suspicions and other peoples' rumors.

Maybe it is happening and maybe not. If what he alleges is happening, I'll believe it when the evidence that supports the facts proves it.

Now you may call that sucking up to the NRA or whatever you may like to call it; and by the way, I have not donated pennies let alone hundreds of dollars to them in a very long time, then again nor am I defending the behavior described in the allegations if it is actually taking place. I do think spreading rumors and what seems like a poison pen article amounts to supporting or trying to commence a witch hunt and maybe that is exactly what the author is trying to do - possibly as a disgruntled suspended and then fired employee. So, while I am not defending the potential perpetrators of the alleged charges if those charges are true - nor will I support one person's allegations with no hard cold evidence (as in actual proof) of what he says and that he only seems to back-up with rumors and guess work.

with how shit has been going with the NRA the last few decades it wouldn't surprise me if it was true.

I have to agree with @Glenn B on this. It reads more lit a hit piece article. Doesn't say why the guy was terminated, or the circumstances leading up to termination. It's also on a blog, which also IMO lends to a certain degree of lack of credibility. A blog is, where the author can control the narrative!

Plus factor in that many of the firearms in the NRA Museum, do not belong to the museum and are simply on loan, which means they can't be sold. Many are donated with very explicit instructions as to how they can be disposed of.

Also makes me wonder if the person who got fired may be the person pilfering the museum, and is simply trying to divert suspicions away and to others.

I also have suspicions about the credibility since the article isn't dated or the person writing the article is named.I also suspect if this article were true, it would be all over the news, at least in many various gun forum, gun magazine articles, ect.

Maybe when you have some real mid to sling at the NRA, from some credible sources, give us an update and links to those sources.

    I’ll post a third perspective: I don’t care.

What I care about is victory. Gun owners have pro gun groups fighting politicians hard and head on. One of those groups that isn’t racking up the wins lately is the NRA. Even if the article is true I don’t care. We are on the verge of losing our American culture and dare I say could soon be fighting a corrupt government in the streets. I don’t care about assets the nra owns.

I would be inclined to agree if it wasn't for the NRA's current track record, all things considered, and note how I worded my title for this thread. it could be something, it could be nada.

its hard to back the NRA in any sort of capacity when FPC, GOA, and many other smaller organizations have been doing better than the "big bad NRA" as anti gun people like to put it, which I find hilarious

IF the story is true, something that big can't and won't be kept a secret for very long. Find some CREDIBLE sources that corroborates the story.

Might have been believable till he said the FFL person was not allowed in, implying firearms were disposed of without his knowledge and thus without following ATF procedures. Instead it just looks like a disgruntled terminated employee.

Of course they can call ATF and report missing firearms if they want, that will settle the issue. <crickets>

People want evidence that any of this is true. The NRA exists to serve it's members but it is run like the dim0crap party. Bow to Peppy LaPew or die.
The NRA is a boarded up fort where the settlers can just wonder what's going on inside. If a soldier asks questions he is shot and dumped over the revetments. Nobody can challenge King Peppy.
And yet the money keeps flowing from somewhere?
And some of those still sending money want evidence. The NRA has by its actions shown that there are real problems within their closed walls. If all is well, they would invite us in to look around. Look up people King LaPew is naked and you are telling the rest of the world world they need glasses.
With this sort of blind adherence to the NRA, perhaps Obiden did win more votes than anyone before him and the 2020 election was honest and as pure as the lying scum sucking dim0craps say it was.
But when I look up I see a bunch of wrinkled asses that need to be moved out.
The King is dead, long live the King
