I'm the first to post my reply to the assignment. We'll see what others have to say. Some of these people are extremely liberal non-thinkers so to them this is higher education.

It seems a majority of schools aren't even that any more. They're Socialist/Marxist Indoctrination Centers teaching our children not history, math, science, reading or writing. They are teaching our children to be good little Socialist/Marxist robots who won't question what The Government says and they'll do exactly what The Government tells them to do. They don't want educated people. Educated people ask questions. They want drooling mindless drones.

I think the Department of Education should be abolished and control of the schools given back over to the individual states and local municipalities. They know better what the children need.

Notable in the field of education, and particularly evident in the K-12 public school system's teachers and administrators, is that the Masters and PHD's are primarily awarded based on quotas.

In the engineering masters and doctoral programs the vast majority are middle eastern or asians (including Indians). Very few white dudes and blacks are nearly non-existent.

Unless the quota requires 80% foreigners I don't think that's what's going on. I think American students just don't want to put forth the effort.

That's why you always get Indian math professors who lecture in incomprehensible heavily accented Engrish and the TA you ask for help is even worse.

What did anyone expect to happen when society started pushing the responsibility of teaching morals and principle on to the schools?

You push for a governments school to teach children how to live, the gov school will tech children to live in the way most beneficial to the gov.


If parents are doing their jobs, the liberal BS from the school will have no effect.
