I'm tired of people bitching at ranges trying to blame something else for them not grouping.
This is to those dudes- practice shooting. Do it a lot. If you have hits and not groups with your rifle and practice doesn't help you need to get some training.
On handguns- groups at 10ft should be close. Groups at 25 feet should be decent. Practice until you get there. You be your own judge to close and decent, because unless you cc with your chl license you're most likely just shooting for fun.

At Eagle Peak last weekend testing some loads on the chrono at 100....

A group arrives and shoots solid for most of a session between cease fires. A lady in the group yells, " Yahooo!!! I finally hit the paper!!!!", to which another in the group says, "Ha Ha Ha, that was me...." God knows where her rounds were going. Ugg....

Then go find a place with the range you want to shoot at. Don't complain that xxx range is sub standard because they don't have a rifle range past 100 yards.
