I ended up with an FAL in a trade with my son. He got a VEPR out of the deal. I know - kids...
There was a time I was really into these back in the 1990s. I have forgotten most of what I know about them. I don't know the story on this one.
This appears to be a build on a South African parts kit and a Hesse receiver. It has the dreaded thumbhole stock to ensure the required compliance parts. It is NOT a Century build. It has a decent camo job on the furniture. 7.62/.308 in case someone asks.
We, son and I, fired a mag through it a few weeks back. Functions perfectly and was minute of dirt clod accurate at about 100 yds across the pond.
Comes with one magazine.
