I'm trying to build up a selection of hosts for an AAC TiRant .45 can I'm expecting next month.

    Do I need a piston to suppress a 1911?
    If so, any suggestions?
What about a MechTech 1911 upper, which, I believe, is direct blowback..?

    What about a glock?
    I've a coupla threaded bbls, one each for a G17 and a G19.
Can I just get an adapter for the 1/2 x 28 threads on the barrels to match the "whatever" thread on a .45 TiRant..?

How about threading a .38/.357 lever gun..?
    Anybody doing this?

    Thanks ya'll!

You'll need a piston on each application.

For the 1911, you'll need the "short" piston used with the internal spring.
For the mechtech ccu, you'll need to swap the spring for a fixed barrel spacer but you'll still use a piston to thread on to the barrel.
For the glock, get a 1/2x28 Ti45 piston and use with the internal spring.

Hope that helps. We sell and stock the pistons and fixed barrel spacers.
