sent 2 ar uppers in 300-221 out to be threaded with a print and my suppressor. shop called today. they were confused. how come i was getting 2 uppers threaded but only 1 suppressor. seems they think a suppressor can only have 1 host. i explained it but they still seemed confused.
seems to me, if your in the business and you offer a service, thread barrels for suppressors, you might want to research it just a little...

Not familiar with a 300-221 I was thinking 300WinMag and 221 fireball. Darn assumption got me again.

Similar to 300 Whisper. Both made from 221 Fireball. Case length & OAL are shorter to get around patent. Basically, 300-221 will chamber in 300 Whisper but 300 Whisper usually won’t chamber in 300-221. Sometimes called 30-221 and 300 Fireball.
