Source for Case color in Hill Country?

I have a Gen 1 Colt SAA that would like to get the frame case colored. It was originally 44-40 but someone in the recent past converted it to .45 Colt. The finish was stripped off the frame, so it is not much of a collector. That being said I want to make it pretty. I did a pretty decent job touching up the bluing on the other metal parts and made a nice set of rosewood grips for it. That leaves the frame.

Any suggestions?
(I have looked at Turnbull, but was hoping for something a little less pricy. And more local.)

Too easy to mess up case colouring, stick with the experts. It will pay off if you ever sell it.

Oh no, I understand but to get that stuff right means sacrificing roosters and a special dance.
