I have recently been offered a promotion that would require me to move to Harlingen. Could someone who is either currently living or raised in the area please pm me. I have some specific questions about where to live, along with the general "feel" for the area. I understand that learning Spanish should be my first objective. Thx.

Its like anywhere else in Tx., don't start anything you can't finish. BTW..TxMx and south of the border don't really mix that well . Its 2 different lingos all together. I lived down there for 6 Mo and was glad to come back home to central tx. I really felt out of place there. but hey....thats just me ...a Tx. Mx. IMO.
